Last night’s Four Corners program again, sadly and unsurprisingly, highlighted that a large percentage of mass murders are perpetrated by those suffering from mental illness.
The Virginia Tech murders committed in April last year by Cho Seung-Hui add weight to the argument that our community should continue to invest in mental health services.
SSAA National President Bob Green today called on the new Federal Labor Government to continue the $1.8 billion funding for mental health services committed by the previous Coalition Government.
