Swiss specialist in watch innovation, Traser H3, has released its latest outdoor timepiece: the P6600 Traser Red Combat, featuring the brand’s signature Trigalight technology. The luminescent hands glow 100 times brighter than standard watches, allowing wearers to read the time in complete darkness, making it the ultimate timekeeper for outdoor action enthusiasts, as well as emergency and law enforcement personnel.
Designed for the United States Special Forces, the Swiss-made Red Combat features blue illumination on the hands – a sleek design that is easy for the wearer to view in the blink of an eye, but difficult to spot at a distance. This self-illuminating light, termed Trigalight by Traser, is composed of a luminous substance known as Tritium. Trigalights are independent of a battery or charging by sunlight, maintenance-free and have a guaranteed lifespan of up to 25 years.
The Red Combat, like all Traser watches, is intrinsically safe and utilises Ronda 517.6 DD Quartz movement with day-date function, a bidirectional PVD-plated steel bezel, a 45mm-diameter case, scratch-resistant sapphire lens and a NATO wristband (an optional rubber wristband is also available). The unit also has mil-spec double case construction with a reinforced glass-fibre outer resin and is water resistant to 200m (20ATM), making it engineered to perform under harsh climates in every condition.
