The SSAA SHOT Expo will return to Melbourne on May 20 and 21 this year. The weekend will include plenty of familiar faces and some new faces, with more than 150 exhibitors showcasing over 500 brands at the Melbourne Showgrounds in Ascot Vale. Expert demonstrations on deer trophies, caping, butchery and much more will be on display as well as many other panel discussions, including a special presentation from the team at Hunting the Menu.
Previous major sponsors ATN, Swarovski Optik Hunting and Winchester Australia will be joined by new major sponsors Beretta Australia, Joker Knife Store and Blaser to bring you possibly the best SSAA SHOT Expo yet. As always, the Australian Shooter and Australian Hunter are also major media partners of the event.
The ATN night vision tunnel will be premiering for the first time in Melbourne alongside dozens of new brands and product launches. Attendees will have a chance to win the major prize, a Steyr SM12 rifle, Swarovski Optik Z8i scope and EL Range binoculars package valued at $10,000, as well as lots of other prizes over the weekend. Plenty of food trucks and kids entertainment will also be available, including jumping castles, face painting and a petting zoo.
Crowd favourites like the SSAA Working Gundogs demonstrations and the SSAA indoor shooting and archery ranges will be in full swing so there will always be something to do. Expo-goers will also have the opportunity to see, touch and purchase the widest range of products available under one roof in Australia. Plus, expert exhibitors will be ready and waiting to talk about services in the shooting sports such as safety and training, responsible shooting, conservation and ethical hunting.
