The SSAA SHOT Expo, Australia’s biggest event for sporting shooters, recreational hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, is set to reach the next level when it heads to Sydney in June. With more than 130 retailers and distributors representing over 500 brands, the first Expo for 2016 is a fantastic event for the whole family and will feature all-new displays and many first-time exhibitors.
To be held on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June, the SSAA SHOT Expo will showcase the newest the industry has to offer at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse in Sydney. There will be plenty on offer for mums, dads and the kids, including great deals and giveaways, live talks and advice from experts on techniques, as well as live cooking demonstrations based on the SSAA’s popular Field to Fork cookbook with Jason from Hunt, Catch, Cook.
The popular SSAA Working Gundogs demonstrations will take place daily at 10am and 2pm, while the SSAA indoor rifle and pistol range will also operate across the two days. There will be an indoor archery range operated by the Sydney Olympic Centre and an all-new ATN night vision tunnel, along with Yamaha pro driver ATV demonstrations. The folks from the New South Wales Department of Primary Industries (DPI) will be there for those who are keen to complete their R-Licence and safety testing. Activities for the kids include a jumping castle, face painting, helicopter joy flights and much more.
One ticket gives you a wristband for entry across the entire weekend, with tickets an affordable $20 for SSAA members, $25 for non-members and $40 for a family pass which covers two adults and two children under 16. Free parking is included. Make sure you buy tickets online to beat the queues and to go into the draw for the chance to win some awesome prizes.
