SSAA National launches A Journalist’s Guide to Firearms and the Shooting Sports

This month, the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA National) has released its 70-page guide to firearms and the shooting sports to aid journalists when reporting on stories that contain firearm-related information.

Written by journalists for journalists, A Journalist’s Guide to Firearms and the Shooting Sports aims to provide a crash course in information about firearms, the shooting sports and recreational hunting, which, we hope, will assist in the correct delivery of accurate information.

The book is a handy guide to Australian laws on firearm possession and use, as well as a brief description of more than a dozen shooting competitions the SSAA runs across the country.

Should you or your media organisation wish to order at no charge further copies of the guide, please email [email protected] with your details.
