As we are all aware, the World Health Organisation has declared coronavirus (COVID-19) a global pandemic. With that in mind, it has been decided by the SSAA National Executive that, with immediate effect, the SSAA will not send teams overseas to compete in events while the virus maintains its pandemic status. It is highly unlikely travel insurance would be available.
This matter will be kept under constant review and any changes notified via the SSAA National website and by email to the National Discipline Chairmen. We regret having to take this action but the health and wellbeing of our members must remain our top priority.
Furthermore, some of the 2020 National Championships have been either cancelled or postponed and this situation will be updated as information comes to hand. In the meantime, please contact the relevant Discipline Chairman for updates.
