They’re more than just backpacks. The Manta and Mira AG series offer versatile hiking companions, built upon Osprey’s ground-breaking Anti-Gravity framework. Anti-Gravity is an encompassing back panel of ultra lightweight mesh, which separates the contents of the pack from the hiker for a smoother carry. This design network also includes Osprey’s specially engineered Lightwire and Airspeed features, which have been integrated into the packs to reduce hiker fatigue and optimise weight distribution.
The Manta and Mira AG sports a paper-thin, 3mm Lightwire suspension frame, designed to transfer the load from the Biostretch harness to the hip-belt. The pack’s Airspeed back panel conforms to the hiker's hip and lower back, simultaneously reducing resistance when moving and increasing airflow for a seamless trek.
On top of the Anti-Gravity features, the packs offer a 2.5-litre hydraulics reservoir with a handy magnetic sternum strap for the bite valve, a Stow-On-The-Go trekking pole attachment and dual-zippered hip-belt pockets for easy access to trail-mix. Osprey has also included an integrated rain cover system for wetter days, so you can keep going, no matter the weather. Made from 210D high-tenacity nylon, 100D accenting and a high-tenacity nylon base, the Manta and Mira AG series packs from Osprey will always have your back.
The Manta AG men’s series packs include the Manta AG20 (20L), Manta AG28 (26-28L) and Manta AG40 (34-36L) and are available in Sonic Blue, Fossil Grey and Spruce Green. The Mira AG women’s series packs include the Mira AG18 (6L), Mira AG26 (24-26L) and Mira AG34 (32-34L) and are available in Cherry Red, Bondi Blue and Misty Grey. All packs retail from between $199.95 and $229.95 and will be available in stores and online dealers from March 2016.
