The Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia is working with a Norwegian researcher who’s looking into hare management techniques around the world. Jon Barikmo has worked in a dozen countries across Europe, Asia, South America and North America as a part of this work and has been a member of the Association for Hunters and Anglers in Norway for more than 30 years.
While in Australia later this year, Jon is hoping to visit and speak to hare hunters. He’s interested in hare management, traditions, social activities, and special events linked to hunting.
