Association unveils its new Chief Executive Officer

The Board of the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA Inc) is pleased to announce that after a comprehensive recruitment process, Thomas (Tom) Kenyon is joining the Association as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Tom is a resident of South Australia and brings a wealth of experience, having served as a Minister in the South Australian Government and was Government Whip for 12 years, during which time he honed valuable legislative skills. In addition to these roles, Tom has held various ministerial positions, worked as General Manager and Project Manager at Innovyz and most recently was CEO of a cyber-security firm.

SSAA Inc President Andrew Judd said Tom was a standout choice, embodying the qualities and leadership needed to drive the Association forward. “Please join us in welcoming Tom Kenyon as our new CEO,” he said. “We look forward to the positive impact he’ll bring to our team and the continued success of our organization under his leadership.”

Tom’s unique skill set and extensive experience make him an excellent fit for the Association. Beyond his professional achievements he’s actively involved in the community and enjoys a broad range of interests. He holds A, B, and H category firearms licences, is a competitive pistol shooter and keen hunter. He’s a member of the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA) South Australia and recently bought his daughter her first gun, reflecting his commitment to family and community traditions.
