Held at the beautiful Captains Mountain Complex on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June, this year’s National Rimfire Benchrest IRB event was one to remember!

Mother Nature sure didn’t make it easy – conditions were tricky! But our shooters took aim and gave it their all. Only two sharpshooters managed to score a perfect target of 250 on Day 1 – and one of them was a junior shooter showing the big guns how it’s done!

Day 2 brought slightly calmer winds and even more precision, with three shooters earning their 250 patches and proving they were right on target.

It wasn’t just about the scores – the event was full of laughter, camaraderie, and yarns shared around the fire each night. Between the banter and the meals, it was an event of shots fired and memories made.
