Event Program
The SSAA National Board has made the decision to cancel SSAA National Championship events for the remainder of 2021. SSAA National Coaching and Disciplines Supervisor Denis Moroney said the decision was made with an abundance of caution to ensure the ongoing safety of competitors.
Friday 29 October 2021, Camping Set-up and practice Camping Set-up from 10.00am, Range available for practice 12.00pm – 4.00 pm.
Saturday 30 October 2021, 4 Big Game Rifle Events + 2 Supplementary events Rifle Scrutineering 8.00am. Briefing at 8.40am. Competition begins 9.00am.
Event 1: Match 5.3.1. Special Snap. (8 Rounds).
Event 2: Match 5.3.3. Group One. (20 Rounds).
Event 3: Match 5.3.4. Black Powder Express. (20 Rounds).
Event 4: Match 5.3.2 Stalking Double Rifle. (14 Rounds).
Time, circumstances, and competitor numbers permitting, Supplementary Events:
Event 5: Match 17.1.7. Light Nitro / Hunting Class. (20 Rounds).
Event 6: Match 17.1.2. African Plains Rifle (20 Rounds). (20 Rounds).
Big Game Rifle National AGM (accredited State Representatives only) after cessation of Rifle matches.
Country Dinner served in dining room at the range on Saturday night at 7.00 pm.
Sunday 31 October 2021, 4 Big Game Rifle Events + 2 Supplementary events, Rifle Scrutineering 8.00am. Briefing at 8.25am. Competition begins 8.30am.
Event 7: Match 5.3.5 Stopping Double Rifle. (10 Rounds).
Event 8: Match 5.3.6. Group Two. (14 Rounds).
Event 9: Match 5.3.7 Bore Guns and Rifles. (14 Rounds).
Event 10: Match 5.3.8. Group Three. (8 Rounds).
Time, circumstances, and competitor numbers permitting, Supplementary Events:
Event 11: Match 17.1.5 Classic Cartridge (20 Rounds),
Event 12: Match 17.1.18 Nitro Stopper (6 rounds).

Rules
The program will be conducted in accordance with SSAA Big Game Rifle Official National Rules, Issue No.4, 2016.
Prizes
1st, 2nd and 3rd Place Medals provided for all individual rifle events.
Championship Medals are provided as follows:
- National Big Game Rifle Champion.
- National Big Game Rifle Ladies Champion.
- National Big Game Rifle Junior Champion.
- National Big Game Rifle Veteran Champion.
- National Big Game Rifle State Team Champions.
The award ceremony will be conducted at the conclusion of shooting on Sunday.
Event Facilities
A BBQ lunch will be provided on Saturday and Sunday for all competitors.
Camping and Caravans permitted at the Range from Thursday to Monday, Male and Female toilets are located onsite with full disabled facilties.
