2026 SSAA Fly Shoot Nationals Sponsored by Nightforce

Event Program

•       Thursday, March 5: Bench draw will be available – Range Setup @ 1600hrs.
•       Friday, March 6: Practice and flag set-up available.
•       Saturday, 7 March: 500m Light Gun Fly: 5 target competition plus warmer/practice target, 9am commence fire.
•       Sunday, 8 March: 500m Heavy Gun Fly: 5 target competition plus warmer/practice target, 9am commence fire.
•       Monday, 9 March: 200yd Rimfire Fly: 5 target competition plus warmer/practice target, 8:30am commence fire

Event Nominations

Fees: $60 per class.
Fees can be paid on your first day of competition – cash only please.
Nominations to be submitted via the flyshooter.com.au website.
Nominations will open Monday 2 February and close on Sunday 1 March.

Rules

The competition will be run in accordance with the SSAA Fly Shoot rulebook  No.2

Prizes

National Medals for:
1st, 2nd and 3rd, Small Group and High Scoring Target for each Class; Two Gun Centrefire, 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Two Gun Centrefire and Rimfire, 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Three Gun, 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Juniors U15 & 15-18yrs, 1st, 2nd and 3rd in Centrefire and Rimfire; and State Teams – 3 each – 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Yeti Cups for First place in each class.
Patches for hits on the Fly
Lucky Prize Draw after presentations on Sunday – details of major prize provided by Nightforce to be announced.

Event Facilities

Catering will be provided by the Gungahlin Lions Club Camping is $10 per person per night. Hot showers, toilets, cooking facilities and electricity provided.
