Field Rifle, 3-Positional, Scoped Air Rifle and NRA Any Sight Proficiency Awards

Proficiency Awards may be won by any SSAA member and are provided to members by the SSAA. For full details of all awards and the rules applying, see the relevant Field Rifle and Scoped Air Rifle rule books.

2-Positional Rimfire / Centrefire Awards

Bronze a score of 70 or above;
Silver a score of 80 or above;
Gold a score of 90 or above;
Masters 2-Positional Rimfire award, a score of 95 or above.

Field Rifle Rimfire / Centrefire Awards

Bronze a score of 340 or above;
Silver a score of 360 or above;
Gold a score of 380 or above;
Masters a score of 390 or above.

Junior Field Rifle Award – Must be under the age of 18 years, and shoot a total score of 300 or above in Field Rifle competition, using either a rimfire or centrefire rifle.

Scoped 3-Positional Rimfire / Centrefire Awards

Bronze a score of 460 or above;
Silver a score of 500 or above;
Gold a score of 540 or above;
Masters a score of 560 or above.

Junior 3-Positional Award – Must be under the age of 18 years, and shoot a combined score of 360 or above in a 3-Positional competition, using either rimfire or centrefire rifle.

10 Metre 3-Positional Scoped Air Rifle Awards

Bronze a total score of 480 or above
Silver a total score of 540 or above
Gold a total score of 570 or above
Masters a total score of 585 or above

10 Metre Precision Scoped Air Rifle Awards

Bronze a total score of 320 or above
Silver a total score of 360 or above
Gold a total score of 380 or above
Masters a total score of 390 or above

Junior Scoped Air Rifle Awards – Must be under the age of 18 years, and in 10 Metre Precision shoot a total score of 240, or in 3-Positional shoot a combined score of 360.
