Match’s to be shot:
All 8-core matches for Big Game Rifle will be shot.

Stalking Class
Special Snap, Group 1 minimum calibre, 8 shots
Stalking Double Rifle, 0.228 minimum calibre, 14 shots
Group 1, 20 shots
Black Powder Express, 20 shots (no optical sights allowed)

Stopping Class
Bore Gun, 14 shots (no optical sights allowed)
Stopping Double Rifle, Group 2 minimum calibre, 10 shots
Group 2, 14 shots
Group 3, 8 shots

All nominations will be taken at the range on the day during sign in between 8 and 9am.
$20 for all 8 core events
or
$5 per event

All matches will be shot in accordance with the current SSAA Rules, BGR-National rules No.5 2024 as found on SSAA WA website.

Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each of the 8 core events for the matches listed above.
1st, 2nd and 3rd for Open Champion based on best two stalking events and best two stopping events (you must shoot at least two stalking and two stopping events).

Shield for top shooter open (state champion).

1st, 2nd and 3rd for Veterans (60years and over) based on any two events shot

Ladies and junior winners also place for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and are any two events as per veterans.

Presentation of winners will be at the end of year dinner presentation night held on Friday 8th of December 2025

There are no facilities at PBGRC; there is some temporary shade only.
