South Australia Club Profile

SSAA Franklin Street Branch Inc was formed and incorporated in december 2003. In march of 2004 the club held it's first pistol match and meeting with 23 members attending.

South Australia's newest club is located in the heart of Adelaide's CBD at 163 Franklin Street and has grown rapidly with 63 members participating in pistol and .22 rimfire rifle matches on Monday and Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings. The location and the fact that it is an all- weather range make it ideal for members who find it difficult to participate in club events outdoors during the weekend.

Marksman Indoor Training Systems, who own the centre and with whom SSAA (SA) lease the range, also provide the club with conference rooms and a well-stocked dealership, supplying members with a wide range of firearms, ammunition and accessories. The building is state-of-the-art in firearm ranges. It provides Adelaide SSAA members with a convenient, modern, all-weather facility to hone their pistol and rimfire rifle skills.
