One of Australia's most prominent forensic psychologists has admitted in court he had taken cocaine to help combat a depressive illness. Tim Watson-Munro, 46, a forensic psychologist for more than 20 years has appeared in courts around Australia giving psychiatric evidence about clients.
Yesterday, Watson-Munro's career was on the line as he appeared before Melbourne Magistrates Court as a defendant, pleading guilty to possessing and using cocaine.He escaped conviction but was put on a 12 month, good-behaviour bond and ordered to pay $1000 to the court fund.
