Dear Sir/Madam
Thank you for your letter and enclosed special SSAA report. The Labor Opposition are already subscribers to the magazine and have read the special report previously.
I was surprised that such a responsible and level-headed Association such as the SSAA would push the anti-United Nations line which is more in keeping with the rhetoric from extreme right wing fringe groups. These types of conspiracy theories might make good reading but are nothing more than pure fiction.
SSAA has a very important role to play in our society by educating people in the proper, safe use of appropriate firearms in a sports context. In this regard, it should be encouraging its members to comply with the uniform gun laws by the 30 September deadline.
