The Australian Medical Association states: "Shootings are an horrific experience for victims and their families and surgeons and other health workers faced with caring for them see this at first hand."
SSAA comment: With regard to the above figures, surgeons and health care workers should clean up their own act before embarking on a crusade against firearms owners.
It is still safer on a shooting range than going under the knife in a NSW hospital.
