SSAA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd welcomes Karina Lampre

Adelaide-born Karina Lampre is the newest member of SSAA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd (SSAAIB). Before taking on the role of Assistant Broker this past September, Karina worked for three years with an insurance broker specialising in heavy transport. The move within the industry has excited Karina. As someone who is interested in shooting, she is looking forward to being a part of the SSAA and furthering her knowledge in the industry and learning the details of this particular area of insurance.

Her main role as Assistant Broker will be to assist her supervisors in taking and processing claims, speaking with clients regarding inquiries, forwarding forms, liaising with underwriters and assisting with endorsements and renewals. Once she has completed her training within the company, she will also be able to provide advice to clients regarding their specific insurance needs.

In addition to her new responsibilities, Karina is midway through a diploma course in insurance at the Australian Institute of Insurance and Finance.

Her position with SSAAIB has rekindled her interest in target shooting. She’s a keen hunter who uses her Sako 75 Varmint rifle to rid the South Australian bush of ferals, but says she is looking forward to revisiting her local range and fine-tuning her target-shooting skills.
