Bathurst Pistol Club receives NSW Government grant 2BS (Bathurst), Morning Show, 08/08/2008 10:20AM Compere: Janeen Hosemans Interview with Graham West, NSW Minister for Sport and Recreation, and Gerard Martin, Member for Bathurst. West says he will be announcing the safe shooting grants today and the Bathurst Pistol Club has been given $8000. West says there has been changes in firearm laws and these grants were done in response to those. He believes the indoor ranges are safe facilities and provide the opportunity for those to train in an Olympic discipline. West wants to increase the support the NSW Government gives to local communities in terms of sporting facilities. Martin says West’s vision will benefit communities. |
