Speer reintroduces the .358-calibre projectile

In response to popular demand, Speer recently announced the reintroduction of their .358-calibre 225-grain Trophy Bonded Bear Claw offering.

The Trophy Bonded Bear Claw (TBBC) bullet has been the standard in stopping power on medium to large game for more than 20 years. Its copper jacket and lead core are 100 per cent bonded for reliable expansion and more than 95 per cent weight retention. In particular, the .358 TBBC has long been known by big-game hunters as one of the top reloading bullets for the .35 Whelen.

“We kept hearing from consumers, dealers and media members that all said they wanted it back,” said Speer brand manager Rick Stoeckel. “So we listened. It is a great bullet and there is obviously a demand for it. Safari hunters who load their own rounds should be excited that the coveted 225-grain .358-calibre TBBC is back.”
