Smith & Wesson vice president of Law Enforcement, Government and International Sales Mr Amaro Goncalves recently visited Australia to promote the new S&W M&P self-loading handgun to law enforcement agencies across the country.

During his hectic visit, Mr Goncalves took time to visit the SSAA and extend his company’s continued support for SSAA Action Match. Grycol International CEO Gary Collibee also extended his company’s commitment to supporting Action Match competition in Australia by again announcing the donation of three Smith & Wesson handguns for the forthcoming SSAA Nationals (Smith & Wesson Cup) to be held at the NSW Blacktown Pistol Club.

“We are delighted at the results that Australian Action Match competitors are obtaining in international competition,” said Mr Goncalves. “For a SSAA team member to win Top Revolver at Bianchi two years in a row while using a Smith & Wesson product indicates that the joint effort by Australia’s largest sports shooting organisation and the world’s leading handgun manufacturer is achieving results.”
