NürnbergMesse on the winning side

“The fat years are back,” says Bernd A. Diederichs, Managing Director of NürnbergMesse, looking with satisfaction at the boom many sectors are enjoying again. NürnbergMesse also profits well from this and the exhibition company has achieved a new record turnover in 2006 with a leap to 125 million euros. This is a rise of 17 per cent over 2004, a more comparable year in terms of event cycles. 2007 with a group turnover of almost 120 million euros is also to be distinctly better than 2005 (96 million euros). “NürnbergMesse is on the winning side, and we want to stay there,” says the confident head of the Nürnberg exhibition company. The growth of successful exhibitions at the Nürnberg location and the worldwide establishment of Nürnberg themes based on the BioFach model are to contribute to this. The World Organic Trade Fair meanwhile has offshoots in North and South America, Japan and – starting in 2007 – in China, too.
