The NSW SSAA State Muzzleloading Championships were held at the Casino range on the 8th and 9th September 2007. The event was well prepared and organised by Wolf and Shana Reichman with the support of Branch Chairman, Don Chesworth.
The numbers attending were well down on those expected, with many shooters who promised to support the event, not showing up.
The weather was cool, very windy and showers annoyed shooters during some events. Unpredictable velocity and frequent changes of wind direction made for a difficult time shooting and this was reflected in some of the scores. However, the shoot was well run and all participants enjoyed themselves. We even had a couple of junior shooters compete successfully for medals. It was also good to see some of our new shooters pick up medals.
