Trans Tasman 5-Stand Championships 2007

The Australian Open Shotgun Team in
action at Queenstown.For many years the SSAA Australian Shotgun Team has been competing against New Zealand at their annual NZ 5-Stand Championships.

In 2006 this competition was formalised when Russell and Paul McGowan donated the SSAA/NZCTA Trans Tasman 5-Stand Trophy. This superb trophy was to be competed for annually at each of the Australian and New Zealand 5-Stand Championships. SSAA provided a custom built carrying case to transport the trophy safely between the two countries.
