2nd Pacific Regional Shooting Championships

SSAA Brisbane (Madden) Range, Belmont and SSAA Ipswich Branch Range, Ipswich
4-9 November 2008
The events/disciplines to be contested during the championships are:
Benchrest - Rimfire, Light and Heavy Varmit (in conjunction with the Queensland Harry Madden match);
Positional Rifle - Rimfire and Centrefire;
Rifle Metallic Silhouette - Air, Smallbore (Heavy) and Hunting (Light);
Combined Services - Service Rifle.
This Championship is primarily a team event for Pacific countries, with a maximum of three two-person teams from each Pacific country; however, individuals are also invited to participate. For detailed info about nominations, minimum qualifying score or placing/ranking contact the relevant discipline chairman.

Nominations
Closing date for individual nominations is October 1. Nomination fees for an event/discipline: $AU80 per competitor. Note: Team members’ nomination fees are included in the competitor nomination fee.

Positional rifle: Centrefire SSAA 3P: Team & Individual event: Practice and competition: Belmont
Presentations and Closing ceremony: approx 7pm: Function venue TBA.

Rules for the events contested at the championship will be the relevant rules applicable at the 1 Jan 2008:
The Smallbore NRA 3P Any-sight match will be conducted under the NRA Smallbore rifle rules
The Centrefire 3P match will be under the SSAA Field Rifle and 3 Position rules with modified equipment specifications.
The Air Rifle Silhouette match will be conducted under SSAA Rifle Metallic Silhouette rules
The Smallbore Rifle Silhouette matches will be based on NRA Rifle Silhouette Rules with modified equipment specifications (same as PRSC 2006)
