News that guns have been reactivated by unscrupulous gunsmiths and sold on the black market is just another instance where the national gun buyback scheme has been proven to be a half-a-billion dollars waste of taxpayers’ money (“Holes shot in gun buyback: Amnesty arms in hands of criminals”, 15/11). It has achieved absolutely nothing, except to take firearms off law-abiding citizens.
