In a country where wild rabbits are as welcome as a drought, it's perhaps not surprising that the fledgling farmed rabbit meat industry has struggled to take off. Many backyard operations may have come and gone, yet more sophisticated setups have steadily grown, as has Australia's taste for this subtle white meat. Breeding better rabbits is going a long way to boosting the bottom line.
