Dot Stephens, Barkinji, has taught young members of the state branch of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia the importance of Aboriginal heritage and culture. The group has been at a youth camp at Tilterweira station near Wanaaring. Stephens took them on a cultural discovery tour of campsites and stone artefacts. John Pond, Senior Vice President, Sporting Shooters Association of Australia NSW, says the teenagers learned a lot from the experience.
