Sporting organisations win on weekly trifecta

In the Charity Super Event organised by 2HayFM and the Riverina Hotel, two sporting organisations were lucky enough to win.
Brian Gibbs donates money to place a bet on a trifecta in any Australian race each week. The trifecta is chosen by Peter Marks, Brian Gibbs, Peter Montgomery and Bob Weston. So far the team has won $2900, all of which will be donated to sporting bodies around Hay.
To be eligible to be in the draw, sporting bodies should apply to 2HayFM detailing why they need the funds.
Winning off the spin of a wheel was the Hay Junior Rugby League Club and the Sporting Shooters Association. Both organisations received $500.
