Sporting shooters celebrate purchase

Another of the local sporting groups to recently benefit from a windfall was the Mackay branch of the Sporting Shooters Association.
A grant of $28,775 from the Queensland Community Benefit Fund has helped the club buy a new you beaut Mahindra 4WD tractor.
The George’ Range at Brightley via Eton covers approximately 12 hectares so the new tractor will be a huge benefit towards maintenance as well as providing the necessary equipment to develop the range further.
The SSAA Mackay branch has more than 650 members who are eligible to access the range competition and practice facilities.
