Harding tops bench-rest 50m

The Mackay branch of the Sporting Shooters Association held the International Rim-Fire Bench-Rest 50m on May 16 in cool conditions.
The highest score was achieved by John Harding with 242.6 out of a possible 250.
Results of the 3 Target Match were: 1 Bob Mulder (aggregate score of 710.17); 2 John Harding (705.12); 3 Jo Carroll (695.17).
On May 17, 18 shooters competed in a Queensland Hunter/Class postal shoot.
Factory Class results: 1 Stuart Skeels (279.00); 2 Wolf Weeken (278.02); 3 Reece Nicholas 270. Light Hunter Class: 1 Bob Mulder (287.5); 2 Graham Blines (280.1); 3 Rowan Brecknell (275.4); Custom Hunter Class: 1st John Harding (297.4); 2 Graham Blines (295.10); 3 Stuart Skeels (295.5); In other news, Bob Mulder returned from the Hunter Class Championship at Warwick with a bronze medal in the Custom C/F Hunter/Class, plus four top ten patches for Light Hunter and both two gun events.
