Interview with David Leake, agricultural protection officer, WA Farmers’ Federation, regarding the plans to expand the state share of the global goat market, which have cautiously been welcomed by the US, Australian Farmers’ Federation, the Pastoralists and Graziers Association and the States Goat Meat Industry Council. Leake discusses the idea of bringing feral goats out of the station country. Leake notes that he is opposed to any reductions in the current regulations for the fencing of goats.
