Walsh remains at the helm

The annual general meeting of the Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA) Armidale Branch was held earlier this month at the Armidale Ex-Services Club. The president thanked the Armidale Ex-Services Club for their support.
Members and visitors accepted the president’s report, together with reports by the treasurer, public officer and discipline captains.
A returning officer, John Ferris, was elected and the election for a new committee for 2009 was held with the following results: president - Grahame Walsh (for his seventh year), vice-president Graham Burke, junior vice-president Norm Wheeler, treasurer Richard Drozdowski, secretary Peter Szacsvay, public officer Richard Drozdowski and publicity officer Megan Wheeler. All discipline captains remain the same.
The following awards for 2008 were presented: Ian Barger Memorial Shield (varmit shoot) - John Harrison.
