Free-range meats a healthier alternative

2DU (Dubbo), Morning Show, 13/03/2009 11:42am

Tim Bannister, Spokesman, Sporting Shooters’ Association of Australia (SSAA), is interviewed about a new cookbook made up of recipes from members. Bannister says they’ve sent copies out to each Federal politician and says “It’s been very interesting seeing who’s replied and who’s thanked us for it or congratulated us”. Bannister says Warren Truss and Kevin Rudd, among others have written back saying it’s a good thing. Bannister discusses his preference for eating free-range winged animals rather “than those caged and fed chemical grain”, along with the possibility of medication used to stop it getting ill.
