What wonderful biased reporting by Ellen Whinnett (“Armed and dangerous, SHS Feb 22). Please tell us the statistics for weapons other than firearms, or isn’t that sensationalist enough? Out of 7000 offences, 561 or 8 per cent were firearm-related and 92 per cent involved other weapons. Don’t let truth spoil a good story.
