Interview with David Lord, Rabbit Management Group, to discuss feral rabbit control. Lord says the benefits of the outbreak of the calicivirus in the 1990s are being lost with time. Lord comments “leaving aside human intervention on natural resources, I think that rabbits probably pose the greatest threat under global warming to Australia biodiversity”. Lord says there are still opportunities to be explored for Australia to cull its rabbit populations and that research must be done on similar climates.
