New chairman appointed to National Wild Dog Advisory Group

Brent Finlay was appointed as the chairman of the National Wild Dog Advisory Group at a meeting yesterday. Interview with Findlay who explains that the Group will facilitate the management of wild dogs across the nation. Finlay describes his background and skills which qualify him for the job. Finlay explains that there is no monetary value on the problem, however future research will aim to find one through organisations such as Aus Wool Innovation. Finlay is amazed about the spread of the problem across states. Finlay doesn’t think that the issue is adequately funded ‘at all’. Finlay agrees that government policy needs to be addressed and he explains that the Group will tackle this by raising community awareness of the issue through the media.
