Victoria legislation allows non-commercial human consumption of culled kangaroos

Member for Eastern Victoria Philip Davis says new legislation is now allowing kangaroos killed by permitted shooting to be available for non-commercial human consumption. Davis says the legislation has been kept quiet for fear of animal rights lobbyists but believes the legislation is sensible as the animal has to be culled.
