Tasmanian Government pressured to ban duck hunting season

There’s growing pressure on the Tasmanian Government to follow the national trend and ban this year’s duck hunting season. This year’s duck hunting season has been cancelled in SA and Victoria because of drought conditions. Dr Eric Woehler from Birds Tasmania says duck populations in Tasmania are also suffering. Peter Dark from the Field and Game Association believes numbers are healthy.
