Junior reader Hunter and his dad Nathan took this big pig at Campo Santo at Taroom in Queensland on June 24, 2011, with a .22-250 rifle. It wasn’t until they reached the downed pig that they saw how truly big it was. It took a lot of hauling to get the heavy beast back to the landowner’s farm too, and after hauling it up onto a tractor with scales, they found the pig weighed in at 98kg!
