This is Tom Cornock’s first boar. It was taken in very mountainous country in Warrumbungles in June 2009. Tom and his father Peter hunted all day and into the evening without success, but then, upon turning for home, the boar appeared! Since becoming a licensed shooter, Tom has shot many different calibres. The 7mm-08 Tikka with a Leupold 4-16 scope, as shown here, is his favourite.
