SSAA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd expands
SSAA Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd (SSAIB) is committed to providing SSAA members with a high level of service and broad access to the most competitive underwriters in Australia. In order to meet these goals most effectively, National Manager Trevor Jenkin has added Tracey Miller to his Adelaide-based team. A native of country Victoria, she has called Adelaide home for the past 20 years and enjoys the easy lifestyle it affords.
Tracey was employed as an Account Manager for SSAAIB in February 2011 and brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the firm. Helping others has always been (and will continue to be) a priority in both her personal and professional life. Of her new role she says, “I am very excited about joining this niche, service-oriented brokerage and I look forward to assisting members.”
As a fully qualified broker, she will be focusing on small to medium commercial business insurance, as well as personal lines. This means travelling to various parts of the country to meet with shooting clubs and gun dealers to see how they operate and talking one-on-one with clients in order to make sure their needs are being met.
Tracey’s new role will also see her negotiating with all insurance companies to provide individual SSAA members with the most comprehensive cover, for both home and contents policies and motor insurance. She will ensure that the policies she arranges on behalf of SSAA members offer full accidental loss or damage based on replacement costs for their home and contents and that there will be no broker fees for SSAA members.
Tracey will be jumping into the deep end of her new role by representing SSAAIB with Trevor at the SSAA SHOT Expo in Victoria in late May. “I look forward to meeting both existing and potential clients and learning as much as I can about the firearms industry,” said Tracey.
SSAAIB has seen significant growth in the past 12 months, making Tracey’s addition most exciting. “We are very fortunate to be able to add someone with Tracey’s experience to our team,” said Trevor. “She previously managed a large portfolio looking after ‘the needs of mums and dads’ as well as the corporate clients with the detailed insurance programs. She is definitely proving to be a real asset to SSAAIB and SSAA members already.”
Both Trevor and Tracey are supported by Joanne Wilson and Nick Margelos, who do the day-to-day processing and office duties of the brokerage.
