The Air Gun Calculator is for air pistol and air rifle enthusiasts who need to compare airgun performance with varying pellet weight, muzzle energy and muzzle velocity and see the relationship between them.
“We wrote the application for a friend who is a keen air rifle shooter and wanted a really simple app to just do this”, says Wayne J Cosshall, managing director of TechnoMagickal Pty Ltd. “We figured that if it satisfied his need, we might as well release it for others. It fits our aim of providing simple apps to do one task easily and without confusion.”

It is a simple-to-use application that focuses only on what you need, without extra detail and confusion. Three sliders can be used to change the weight, muzzle velocity and/or energy settings while you can see the other change. Numeric boxes show the exact values and you can touch these to enter the exact values if you prefer. Change pellet weight or muzzle velocity and the app calculates muzzle energy. Change muzzle energy and the app calculates muzzle velocity for you.
Buttons allow you to switch between imperial and metric measurements.
The current version is English only. Version 1.1.0 will support other European languages.
