New Thompson Center Venture Predator to be launched at 2010 SHOT Expo
The Thompson/Center Arms Company has added a new bolt-action rifle to the Venture family - the Venture Predator. Built to answer the calls of predator hunters, the Venture Predator provides the dependable accuracy, durability and reliability required for any hunting situation.
“We are excited to launch this new model at the SHOT Expo,” said Bernard Papps, sales director of Thompson Center’s Australian distributor, Frontier Arms.
“A lightweight camo rifle chambered in .204, .223, .22-250 and .308 makes the Thompson Center Venture Predator ideal for the Australian hunter.”
Engineered with the same high-quality features that help separate the Thompson Center Venture line-up from standard bolt-action rifles, the Venture Predator is the leader in both value and performance.
At the core of the Venture Predator’s top-notch accuracy is the rifle’s 22" precision barrel with 5R rifling and target-grade crown. Guaranteed MOA (minute of angle) accuracy, the rifle will fire three shots in a 1" group or less at 100 yards. Not only does the rifle’s 5R rifling enable Thompson Center’s MOA guarantee, but it also creates less copper fouling, providing more consistent accuracy in high-use shooting situations and significantly less cleaning time.
Once in the field, hunters will also benefit from the rifle’s classic-styled composite stock, featuring Realtree Max-1 camouflage and inlayed, traction grip panels that give the rifle a distinct look and positive feel regardless of weather conditions.
Made entirely in the United States and backed by Thompson Center’s famous lifetime warranty, the Venture Predator is chambered in .204, .223, .22-250 and .308 and is standard with a single-stack three plus one detachable nylon box magazine.
