Follow the Sun campaign offers free Australian adventure
Leading leisure company Dometic Group is looking for three couples to go on the road trip of a lifetime around Australia. The company has launched one of Australia’s most exciting offers, with the major prize being a 13-week adventure, plus their own caravan, camper trailer or motorhome fitted out with brand new Dometic Group products. In what might just be the best job in the country, the couples will promote their newly-fitted caravans and campers along the way. The prize is worth up to $35,000* per winning couple.
Unveiling the promotion at the Adelaide Caravan and Camping Show, Dometic Group president division RV AM Thomas Baehlkow said this road trip of a lifetime will be the greatest way to enjoy work and play, while promoting leading Dometic brands.
“This is the first time in history that our company has launched such an exciting consumer campaign in the Australian market,” he said.
“If you love caravanning or camping around Australia, but hate paying travel expenses, if you love meeting new people and can see yourself as a Dometic ambassador promoting your leading appliances while taking in some of Australia’s best landscape and destinations, then this promotion is for you.”
The major prize is the opportunity to travel in Australia on a three-month, pre-planned expenses-paid holiday and receive a complete makeover of their own caravan or camper trailer with a range of luxurious Dometic and Waeco products.
The three winning couples simply need to act as Dometic Group ambassadors and show off their Dometic appliances to fellow travellers along the journey. Dometic will foot the bill for accommodation, flights, food and more.
Competition winners will be announced at the Sydney Caravan and Camping Show 17 to 25 April, 2010. The tour begins at the Brisbane Caravan and Camping Show on 9 June, 2010, and will finish on the Gold Coast with a huge party on 15 September, 2010.
Fellow supporter of the Follow the Sun Campaign, Discover Down Under host and former Olympian Brooke Hanson urged as many people as possible to enter this year’s most exciting competition and enjoy the great Australian outdoors.
“This really is a truly fantastic opportunity to see some of Australia’s best destinations while being paid to travel - it doesn’t get much better than that!” she said.
