River to Reef TV series

The long-running and highly popular River to Reef television series has hit new heights, teaming up with fishing celebrity and SSAA member Alistair McGlashan. Hailed as the best series ever, the team explores the New South Wales north coast, enjoying some sensational fishing along the way.

Al and co-host Theo Rosarkis battle with countless kingfish, as well as bream, flathead, snapper and salmon and even deepwater ooglies such as bar cod, but the boys still take the time to share the finer points of fishing. They tackle some of the biggest fish caught on the show including Theo’s first marlin, but it is the great white shark encounter that really takes the show to a new level. Getting up close and personal with the most feared creature on earth is something you just have to see to believe, as Al encourages them right to the boat.

Fishing aside, the series is loaded with boating tips, while Robbie, the newest member of the team, shows off what else is on offer besides fishing. And then there is the cooking - catching the fish is one thing, but some of the dishes that Theo whips up are nothing short of sensational!
