North Arm Shotgun Association’s 25th Anniversary Shoot
August 28-30 is the 25th Anniversary of North Arm Shotgun Association on their range situated on the Davison Range Shooting Complex in Yandina, Queensland. To commemorate the event, club foundation member and past president Dennis Healy has compiled a booklet on the history of the club. The 25th Anniversary will be celebrated by the club with a three-day shoot, the first in the club's history.
On Friday, August 28, the club will hold a grouse shoot.
On Saturday, the club will hold the 25th Anniversary Shoot, which will be officially opened by Peter Wellington MP and Member for Nicklin, who will fire the first shot of the day. Councillor Debbie Blumel will present prizes to the grade winners.
On Sunday, the Club’s Annual Open Shoot will be held. The prize winners on the day will be presented with their prizes by the North Arm Shotgun Association's Patron Fiona Simpson MP and Member for Maroochydore.
The North Arm Shotgun Club is expecting a good attendance of competitors from South-East Queensland and northern New South Wales. The Club invites the residence of the Sunshine Coast to come along and witness some of the best clay target shooters in action too.
The major sponsors of the event are Corsivia-GB, High-Way1 Mower from Kunda Park and Just Splitz Airconditioning from Winnellie. Other sponsors will be advertised at the club during the event.
This is North Arm Shotgun Club’s first ever three-day shoot in its 25-year history, so come along and support them.
