The new Rugged Ridge HID driving lights are just what the four-wheel drive owner needs - powerful illumination at a very reasonable price.

These 7"-diameter lamps punch out a white light over a long distance, with a very practical wide spread. The HID technology - using 35w globes - means much less drain on the battery, compared to the usual 100w type.

Australian four-wheel drive specialist company 4WD1 have tested the Rugged Ridge HID driving lights and found that the performance of these lights is staggering. The road ahead, and the scenery to the side, is lit with an easy-on-the-eyes white light that is almost like daylight.

However, the true test comes when you switch on the HIDs. By comparison, the standard high-beam lights seem as though they are powered by wax candles!
