displays Alistair McGlashan images
Images from eight of the world’s hottest photographers are presently on display at the International Game Fish Association (IGFA) including Australian marine photography and regular SSAA publications contributor Alistair McGlashan.
“It was a real honour to be included as the only Australian photographer”, says Al, “and it goes hand in hand with what I am trying to do to promote the excitement of offshore fishing”.
Joining the ranks with other acclaimed photographers such as Scot Kerrigan, Charlie Levine and Pat Ford, Al’s photos are part of more than 70 images exhibited in the Art Gallery of the IGFA Hall of Fame and Museum in Florida, USA. Al McGlashan has several spectacular images on display including his famous shot of the deckhand getting speared in the bum by a marlin, as well as an amazing shot of a black marlin that is jumping upside down.
All visitors to the museum have the opportunity to experience the excitement, thrills and amazing beauty of bluewater fishing through the lens of these master photographers. If you are in Florida, drop in and check out a fellow Aussie on display.
